Owl Yurt

The Owl Yurt is placed next to a small pond with lovely views of the valley and surrounding farmland, You have your own campfire for cooking and it will keep you warm as you relax, gaze at the stars and listen out for the call of the owls at night.

Inside the yurt you have everything you need for a comfortable stay, a wood burning stove to keep you warm if it gets a bit chilly, double bed and two singles, with bedding and pillows for a restful nights sleep, a camping gas stove for that early morning cup of tea and of course cooking utensils, cutlery and crockery. A small solar panel will provide you with light in the yurt and the ability to charge your phone with usb connection (weather dependant)

There is also a cool box with Ice blocks that can be exchanged daily at the farm.

There is a compost toilet and shower for your exclusive use at the yurt.

This yurt is near to the shepherds hut which sleeps two so why not invite the grandparents

It is not always possible to drive your car to the yurt if it has been wet and we are happy to take your belongings down in our farm truck

Arrival time 4m to 8.30pm

Departure time before 10am.

We cannot take dogs at Freshwinds Camping

Owl yurt can be booked for 3 nights from a Friday, 4 nights from a Monday or 7 nights from a Monday or Friday.

Off peak April to 25th July
